One of those days.

I did get up and get dressed to the shoes this morning. Other than that it was just one of those days. You know when you just want to crawl back into bed. I pushed on and we got some homeschooling done, but that's pretty much it.
The girls kept the laundry going but I never made it the folding part that is my job. So now tomorrow morning I have three and a half baskets to fold.
I am happy to say that I accomplished the four things I set as my goal for right now:
Bible Reading- I'm reading through the Gospels a few times this year.
Two chapters of my Elizabeth George book.
Dressed to the shoes.
Homeschooling.
I have to admit, before when I woke up feeling like I did today I would have skipped most of those things. So, a big yay for me. I do see improvement.
What are some ways you push through when you are having one of those days?

When I *don't* get fully ready (dressed to the shoes!), I'm WAY more likely to have one of those days!! The best defense of "those" days *is* getting up at a decent time, taking a shower right away and getting breakfast (for MYSELF) right afterwards. If I skip any of those, my day is in serious danger of being BLAH....

Good for you!

I have been having many of those days and they were getting worse and worse.....I was actually concerned that something serious was wrong and asked to have some blood work done. I found out yesterday I have a severe Vitamin D Deficency. Goodness! Now I am to take a whooping 50,000 units of Vit D once a week for 20 weeks! My doctor was suprised I could get out of bed from the fatigue it causes. It answers questions but still, like you said, we have to get up and get going!!!
I have 2 of the books you listed a while back on my list too. I got the 31 Days to Clean for a dollar yesterday...it goes through til today sometime. I also want to reread Passionate Housewives Desperate For God.

I make a list on my white board and rub out each thing as I accomplish it. I love seeing the empty board at the end of the day.
Keep up the good work!
I really enjoy your blog.

Great ideas! Lori, YES! I am noticing the same thing. No matter what time it is when I get up if I hop up and put get dressed right away the day just falls into place!
Bren, it really is helpful to have those answers. I hope the Vit D helps out.
Rebecca, what a smart idea. I have white boards all over the house. I might have to try that.
